Alistair Cotton is a professional editorial, industrial, corporate portrait and people photographer based in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

After studying journalism at the then Technikon Natal, Alistair cut his professional photographic teeth while working as a news reporter for local newspapers and then freelancing for The Star in the 90s. During this period Alistair won a local media photographic award and shot conflict images landing on the front page of The Star and syndicated with AFP.

For the past 14 years, Alistair has offered comprehensive photographic services including commercial, industrial, portrait, food, product, architectural & interior photography. In this time, Alistair also shot all the images for two published cooking books.

Under peer review, Alistair has been accepted and qualified by the prestigious SA Professional Photographers association – a body comprising only the best local, exclusively professional photographic talent.
